Dr. James Terrebonne

Dr. James Terrebonne is a native of Galliano, LA and a graduate of South Lafourche High School. His interests in dentistry came from his grandfather, Dr. Basil Gentry, who was in private practice in Larose, LA.

Education / Accomplishments

Dr. Terrebonne earned a collegiate athletic scholarship in the sport of golf at Nicholls State University, where he also obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry. When he was a senior, he was awarded the Capital One All-Academic Honors Award for his performances on the golf course, and in the classroom.

Dr. Terrebonne received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. He is board certified in CITA and is a member of NODA, LDA, ADA, and AGD.

About

Dr. Terrebonne focuses on quality and gentle dental care for all of his patients. He loves working in healthcare and helping patients with their dental needs. In addition, he has completed advanced education in oral sedation and esthetic dentistry.

During his spare time, Dr. Terrebonne enjoys playing golf and offshore fishing. He is a big fan of the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints, where he frequently attends home games in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
